Grassroots is committed to providing secure online shopping for you, whereever you call home. Many of our store customers are from rural Australia or our metropolitan capitals. International customers are also welcome. Online shopping is energy and time efficient, having a small ecological footprint. You can have items delivered to your home or work, with very reasonable postage costs. Gifts can be sent directly to your loved ones, complete with wrapping and a beautiful Earth Greeting gift card.

All online items are available in our Armidale store where you can touch and feel and try things on. We'd love to meet you when you are passing through the New England.

Purchasing

We have aimed to make shopping online as friendly as possible. Browse through our product pages. Read about the product and the thinking behind it in our "our Label." Enter your details to become an account customer and choose a payment method.

You can pay by secure credit card transaction (VISA, MasterCard, BankCard), Cheque, Money Order/Direct Deposit or even telephone. Our toll free phone order number is 1300 768 044.

Packaging

Although we encourage the use of minimal packaging, we make every effort to ensure the safe arrival of your goods. Where possible, we will package your item or gift in recycled/reused packaging. This might include some reused padding from our suppliers.

Delivery

Your purchases will be despatched within two working days. We will typically use e-parcel by Australia Post and a flat fee of $10 for anywhere in Australia. Purchases over $250 enjoy FREE DELIVERY.

Returns Policy

Faulty and damaged items will be exchanged promptly. Where items are unwanted, the wrong colour or size, a charge of 10% of the product value will be incurred to cover additional postage and handling. We remain responsible for the safe delivery of your purchase to the point of first contact. After this, such as items not signed for immediately, the purchaser will assume responsibility.

Some Fairtrade toys and gift items are "one-off" designs or colours, as artisans typically work with available materials. We will let you know if any substitutions have been made. Please call or email any concerns able your purchase.

Gifts and Vouchers

We delight in providing your friends and family with unusual, quirky and thoughtful gifts. We wrap these gifts in our signature Australian made, 100% post consumer, recycled brown paper, bound with reusable hemp twine. We will provide a complimentary gift tag with your personal message. Please complete the delivery address details for gift-purchases, with daytime contact details for the recipient. Please write your card message in the "Special Instructions" section of the checkout.

Gift Vouchers can be purchased through our Products/Gifts page. These are available to the value of $25.00, $50.00 and $100.00. Gift vouchers can be sent by EMAIL or post. Please specify in your instructions during purchase.

To redeem a Gift Voucher, the voucher code can be entered into the "Promotional Code" field of the check-out. Change cannot be issued, so please use the entire value of the voucher in a purchase.

Privacy Policy

Grassroots does not record and maintain credit card or banking details of our customers. Personal information is held only for the purpose of your safe and convenient shopping and to provide you with information from ourselves.

We will never disclose, sell, rent or exchange your personal details to any third party for any reason.
